Evening & Night in Stockholm

When in Stockholm an evening out offers a lot of possibilities. There is just anything for anyone. Whatever you want to see and listen, opera, theatres (mostly in Swedish) or just listen to some funky music at a little club not far from the city centre. Downtown at Stureplan and along Kungsgatan there are discotheques in a more international style. Or why no try karaoke at a bar until the sun raises or Latin, jazz, techno, house or… Stockholm offers a lot. Another typical Swedish "speciality" are the popular Icebars where you can get a drink in a very chilly enviroment.  



Besides the many places to visit in the evenings and nights Stockholm are also known as a friendly town for the gay community with more than 20 bars and discotheques.
Don’t forget that in Stockholm as well as in Sweden as a whole, smoking is prohibited in public bars, restaurants, discotheques etc.
