Millesgården is located on Lidingö, one of the greater islands in the Stockholm area, can by itself be regarded as a work of art. The design with its lovely terraces, calm giving fountains, exiting stairways, sculptures and columns embedded in a diversity of vegetation surround this beautiful and integrated museum. From the cliff Herserudsklippan there is an immense outlook across the waters of Värtan.
When entering this astonishing complex of terraces and fountains one are overwhelmed by the sensuality in the composition of this museum.
